MUGA

The multi use games area has recently been refurbished and includes flood lighting for evening use. The MUGA boasts a special non slip surface with clearly marked lining ready for netball, football, basketball and tennis.

Meeting Facilities

You may not be aware that we have rooms suitable for meetings and conferences or for use as a training venue; The Meeting Room has been recently refurbished and holds up to 40 people, in a variety of formats. There are built in facilities for giving Power Point, video/DVD presentations including a sound system. Refreshments and catering can be made available on request. Photocopying is also available in the centre.

The Studio

The Studio is suitable for martial arts, exercise classes and dance sessions as the room boasts sprung lino flooring and full length mirrors along the length of one wall. The room has good lighting, heating and ventilation. Matting for sports sessions can also be provided.

Football Field

The football field is lined to FA recommended measurements. Permanent goal posts are situated at each end of the pitch. The field is fully secured with fencing to ensure a safe environment to play especially for junior football teams. Toilet and changing facilities are available within the centre.

Outdoor Pursuit Bookings

If you are interested bring a group to Bridgwater YMCA to participate in outdoor pursuits we offer the following activity choices: climbing, canoeing, kayaking, bell boating, cycling, caving and problem solving. All bookings are led by qualified, experienced coaches to ensure that each group gains the best possible experience of outdoor pursuits. Sessions can be booked on either a one off basis or as a block booking over a number of weeks. All ages and interest can be accommodated. Youth groups, school groups and sports clubs are all welcome.
