There are many opportunities to volunteer and support the work of Bridgwater YMCA including...youth work, working with children, maintenance work, fitness assistants, sports assistants, fundraising, etc

Volunteering can be a great deal of fun and you can be assured of a warm welcome at the YMCA.

Volunteer recruitment procedure

Because of the nature of our work with children and young people we have a clear volunteer recruitment procedure. Everyone who volunteers to work with children and/or young people will have their suitability checked thoroughly, including a check through the Criminal Records Bureau 

Besides the income brought to us by charging very competitively for the services we provide at the Bridgwater YMCA, such as the Fitness Centre, we rely on the generosity of donors.
